Emerging African Scholars’ Virtual PhD Workshop

Greetings, from the Association for Research on Civil Society in Africa!

You are have received this email because at some point in time, you interacted with AROCSA, and we would like to keep you updated on our activities. We are about to unveil a renewed and re-energized AROCSA, and will share details with you soon!

We hope that you are staying safe in these difficult and uncertain times. Although our 2020 conference has been cancelled, AROCSA is committed to keeping stakeholders engaged virtually, because beyond this pandemic, African civil society remains in need of fresh ideas and opportunities to proactively influence the continent’s future.

Ironically, while the pandemic limits our in-person social interaction, it creates a major opportunity to leverage technology, and challenges our community to innovate and review its scholarship, advocacy, service delivery and policymaking. The onus rests upon us all to identify and implement new ways of carrying out our work and using this unfortunate crisis as a launchpad for innovation.
The Ph.D. Workshop will be held virtually on the 30th of July.
Further details on this workshop are available on our website.
