Dr Stanley Ukpai is the Senior Technical Advisor and Acting Lead for the development Research Projects Centre, PACFaH@Scale project (dRPC-PAS). He brings both clinical and public health experience which provides a blend of high level monitoring and evaluation, and programming strategic support to sub grantee NGOs on the PAS project. He mentors, supports and is a leading member of the technical team working to ensure sub grantee success at project implementation.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Igbinedion University, Okada and a Master’s degree in Public Health with distinction from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK.
Before devoting his work fulltime to the dRPC-PAS, he served in Medical Practice with the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital and the Akwa Ibom State Government Staff Specialty Centre Uyo Akwa Ibom state where he was both clinician, NHIS focal officer and pioneer mobile emergency unit team lead.
Dr Stanley Ukpai has interest in public health interventions creation which is reinforced in some of his researches and published works He is now focused on delivering programming strategies for improving health outcomes in Nigeria using advocacy as a tool to reach the duty bearers, implemented through indigenous civil society organizations.
