Theme: Addressing challenges of policy implementation: A panacea for achievement of Education 2030 Agenda

The development Research and Project Center (dRPC) participated as a delegate of the Kano State Ministry of Education in the 2023 Joint Consultative Committee on Education (JCCE) Reference Committee Meetings which was held in Makurdi, Benue State from 8th to 10th May 2023. The dRPC in collaboration with Ministry of Education Kano presented a memo titled ‘The need to develop Monitoring and Evaluation Framework to address the Challenges of Policy implementation’. This memo was submitted to Educational Planning Reference Committee and approved for the next stage- JCCE Plenary meeting to be held in Abia. A similar memo was presented by the Niger State delegation, which was merged and approved under the following title: “Memoranda presented by the development Research and Project Centre (dRPC) Kano, Ministry of Education Kano State and Ministry of Education Niger State”.
A total of fifty six (56) memos were presented to the planning committee out of which 16 were approved including that of the dRPC in collaboration with the Kano State Ministry of Education. The JCCE Meeting had the regular 9 (nine) distinguished committees whose varying summaries of recommendations will be harmonized to produce the final summary of recommendations of approved memos. The Kano state delegation was led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
