The dRPC disseminated its research on Testing the GPE Model: Gender Review of Education Sector Planning in Nigeria at the panel on Ending Child Marriage organized by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and Echidna Giving during the Women Deliver Conference 2023 in Kigali. The panel titled “What will it take? A Multidimensional Approach to Ending Child Marriage” explored multidimensional approach on ending child marriage with policy perspectives from the dRPC and feminist and trust-based funding practices to support grassroots-led social change from the Girls First Fund grantee in Uganda. The Research was conducted in collaboration with Malala Fund with a mixed methods methodology to study Gender Responsive Education Sector Plans in 6 GPE funded North-West states in Nigeria (Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Jigawa and Zamfara). |
