The Institute for Security Studies (ISS) Dakar is offering the Junior Fellowship Programme 2025–2026 to young researchers interested in security and policy-related issues affecting West Africa and the Sahel. The fellowship offers training, mentorship, and practical experience in policy-oriented research.

About the Fellowship:
The fellowship aims to build research capacity in the region by supporting early-career professionals and academics interested in promoting peace, security, and governance in West Africa.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Young professionals under 35 years of age.
• Holds at least a Master’s degree in political science, international relations, development studies, or related fields.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Fluent in French and/or English.

Fellowship Duration:
12 months

ISS Dakar Office, Senegal
