About the Opportunity

We are pleased to share this external opportunity for media professionals and content creators: the Women Deliver 2026 (WD2026) Media & Content Creators Scholarship.

This program offers full scholarships to global journalists, reporters, editors, podcast producers, photojournalists, and independent content creators producing factual coverage of issues such as gender equality, health, climate justice, and human rights.

What the Scholarship Covers

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Full WD2026 conference registration
  • Hotel accommodation (26–30 April 2026)
  • Round-trip economy airfare
  • Visa fees and processing costs
  • Daily per diems for meals and transport
  • Travel insurance
  • Support person or guardian costs (where applicable)

Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants include:

  • Reporters, editors, and producers
  • Podcast/radio journalists and broadcast teams
  • Photojournalists, videographers, and independent content creators
  • Freelancers (with a commissioning letter)
  • Priority will be given to those focusing on gender equality, health, climate justice, and other social issues — as well as Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, youth, and under-resourced community journalists.
