About the Role
The Foundational Learning Initiative for Government-led Transformation (FLIGHT) is a new catalytic funding facility launched to support African governments to scale reforms that ensure all children achieve foundational learning skills. FLIGHT is anchored by an initial USD 35 million commitment from leading philanthropic funders and was announced at the ADEA Triennale.
Designed to be lean, government-led, and results-driven, FLIGHT provides flexible, high-trust financing and hands-on support to accelerate effective reforms while minimizing bureaucracy and prioritizing country ownership.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Senior-level leadership experience in education, international development, or public policy
- Strong track record in institutional building, fund management, and government engagement
