Research Officers

Number of positions: 3
Engagement: Part-time or Full-time

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Masters level qualification in the Social Sciences (Public Health or Sociology).
  • Proven experience conducting field research in Northern Nigeria.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and data management skills
  • Experience using research software such as NVivo, Atlas.ti, SPSS, or Stata (an advantage).
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to draft research reports, briefs, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Program Officers

Number of positions: 2

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Masters level qualification in the Social Sciences.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing donor-funded social sector projects in education and health.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating field activities, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project monitoring, reporting, & compliance requirements of donors.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality donor reports, activity plans, and implementation schedules.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, logistics, & project documentation.
  • Experience working with government agencies, CSOs, and community structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills & the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Legal Researchers

Number of positions: 2

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a recognized institution
  • Successful completion of the Nigerian Law School
  • Must have been called to the Bar
  • Strong interest in gender justice and the rights of women and girls
  • Minimum of two peer-reviewed and/or published research works on gender-related legal topics
  • Proven research, analytical, and legal writing skills
