Deadline: 7 July 2026
Applications are now open for the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) Youth Policy Lab 2026, a fully virtual pan-African policy innovation challenge designed to equip young Africans with practical skills in policymaking, leadership, governance, and innovation. The programme places young people at the centre of policy discussions and empowers them to develop evidence-based solutions to Africa’s development challenges.
Under the 2026 theme, “From Coordination to Commercialization: Youth, Innovation & Growth,” participants will explore how policy can drive innovation, job creation, and economic transformation across the continent. Through a simulation-based approach, participants will assume the role of policymakers within a fictional institution, the National Youth Transformation Authority (NYTA), to design practical solutions to real-world challenges.
