CSO4KEHS Conducts Advocacy Visit to the Executive Secretary of Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board Dr Tijanni Hesseini, 23rd November, 2021

Civil Society Organizations Kano Essential Health Services (CSOs 4KEHS) for Women, Children and Adolescents Project, which is funded by the Management Sciences for Health (MSH) through their COVID-19 Response and Recovery Small Grants Mechanism advocated to ES SPHCMB and the Kano state government to bring down barriers to women, children and adolescents (WCAH) in accessing essential health services including nutrition as Kano develops and executes COVID-19 response and recovery plans in the context of the National COVID-19 Priorities.

Kano Emirate Council Committee on Health and PAS Coalitions of CSOs, that included Medical Women Association (MWAN), Women in Media and Communication Initiative (WIM), accountability Mechanisms on MNCH in Kano State (AMMKaS), Federation of Muslim Women of Nigeria (FOMWAN), National Association of Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) makes Civil Society Organizations Kano Essential Health Services (CSOs 4KEHS) for Women, Children and Adolescents Project. The E.S in response committed to partner with CSOs and coalitions like this to support the most vulnerable group which are women, children, and adolescents.
