Through the PAWED project funded by BMGF, the Women’s Economic Empowerment Monitoring and Evaluation policy was launched and piloted by the Ministry of Budget and National Planning as an accountability tool for WEE projects and initiatives. Following on from this, and with the technical support of the dRPC, the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Women’s Affairs through the Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Dr. Ini Adiakpan is commencing the process of domesticating this policy.
