The Prince Claus Fund’s Building Beyond program (Cycle 5) is accepting applications from creatives, designers, architects, and urbanists working in the African continent. The program aims to foster exchange and knowledge creation among socially engaged design professionals.

About the Program:
Building Beyond is a year-long multidisciplinary program that connects creative practitioners who are redefining spaces through social impact. Participants engage in peer-to-peer learning and collaborative workshops while receiving production support for their work.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be based in or work in the African continent.
• Open to mid-career designers, artists, and spatial practitioners.
• Demonstrated commitment to socially engaged design.
• Proficient in English.

Program Duration:
March 2026 – March 2027
