Empowering AI Innovations to Strengthen Humanitarian Preparedness

Applications are now open for the TECH 4 Resilience Challenge 2025, launched by the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) in collaboration with the Gates Foundation and Trafigura Foundation. This initiative seeks innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven solutions to mitigate the effects of climate-related emergencies and enhance Anticipatory Action (AA) frameworks in humanitarian settings.

What’s Offered

  • Funding of up to USD 50,000 per selected project to develop and scale solutions
  • Tailored leadership development and mentorship
  • Communications support and pitch preparation for potential funders

Who Should Apply

Innovators and entrepreneurs leveraging AI to address climate-related emergencies or reinforce Anticipatory Action systems

Not-for-profit and for-profit organizations are both eligible

Projects must target emergencies in **low- and middle-income countries**, as defined by OECD-DAC, including but excluding: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea region
