The dRPC views Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) an effective mechanism to connect formal and informal education and training to the world of work, unlocking the potential of young people and adults for a productive future. The dRPC works to bridge the space between education and training to the world of employment and sustainable income generation. Thorough our Future Workers program funded by the Open Societies Foundation and numerous other skills focused donor funded programs the dRPC has facilitated the training of thousands of Nigerian youths in Technical and Vocational Schools. The dRPC also worked with the NERDC under the PSIPSE project to review and update the 34 Trade subjects in the countries Senior Secondary Curriculum.
