Bayelsa Commissioner visits dRPC, Commends Partnership with NACHPN
The Commissioner of Works and Strategy in Bayelsa State, Chief Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo has described the partnership between the Development Research and Project Center, (dRPC) and the National Association of Community Health Practitioners,(NACHPN) under the Partnership in Advocacy for Child and Family Health,(PACFaH@Scale) as a commendable step towards improving the nation's Health sector.

The Federal Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Development Policy Research Center (dPRC), with the support of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation held a 1- day NGO/CSOs Stakeholders’ engagement on the 19th of July, 2018. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the existing task shifting and sharing policy (TSSP), identify gaps, barriers to effective implementation and provide recommendations as well as consider future implementation considerations.
Stakeholders call for rational use of essential medicine in Nigeria
Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria- Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family Health at Scale; Centre for Communication and Reproductive Health Services among other stakeholders have called on the 36 States of the federation including Federal Capital Territory, to domesticate the use of National Standard Treatment Guidelines, NSTG and Nigeria Essential Medicines List, NEML guideline to foster rational use of medicines at all levels of healthcare. Civil society training centre opens in Abuja
he need to improve the capacity of Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria received a boost with the commissioning of a state of the art training facility in Abuja by the Country Director of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, BMGF Mr Paulin Basinga. The training facility known as the Abdulraufu Mustapha CSO Training Center was the first of its kind in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
One Percent Consolidated Revenue Fund
