Inception meeting of the Grannies Network For Change (G-NEC)
The Kano State Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Persons with Special Needs, in collaboration with dRPC, has launched the Grannies Network for Change (G-NEC) (the KAKA Project) 2026–2027. The initiative mobilises grandmothers as key influencers to reduce gender-based violence and support girls’ access to and completion of secondary education in Kano and Jigawa.
