dRPC and Partners Pay Advocacy Visit to Minister of Women Affairs, Present Research Findings on GBV Prevention and Women’s Political Participation
The dRPC, with support from the Ford Foundation, led an advocacy visit to the Honorable Minister of Women Affairs to present findings on GBV prevention and women’s political participation. The Minister praised the initiative, stating that “women are the heartbeat of the nation and should be the number one beneficiaries of democracy.”

dRPC Moderates High-Level Panel on Displacement and Poverty at NES 2025
The development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC) moderated a high-level panel at the Nigerian Economic Summit 2025, exploring how conflict, displacement, and insecurity are driving new poverty patterns in Nigeria. Moderated by Dr. Judith-Ann Walker, the session featured five expert discussants who called for data-driven, gender-sensitive, and community-based solutions to address displacement and its impact on vulnerable populations.

Over 150 teachers trained, 20 scholarships awarded, and a state-of-the-art ICT lab commissioned to boost digital literacy and combat school-related gender-based violence in underserved communities.
