PAS Collaborates With The West African Institute For Public Health To Dialogue On The 2023 Proposed Health Budget

PAS partner WAIPH-PAS convened a workshop to discuss the implications of the 2023 health budget for Nigerians. This meeting aimed to catalyze champions in government to advocate for adequate funding of the health sector to its goals and targets. In attendance was the Director of Family Health representing the Hon Minister of Health, Professional Associations, medical practitioners, and CSO partners including SFH, Pathfinder International, and USAID, amongst others, and the media. This activity happened on November 3rd 2022.

Outcome – PAS is keeping the issue of health and FP financing topical for the FMOH.

 

The development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC) is registered intermediary non-profit  organization established with a mission of strengthening the capacity (organizational and technical capacity) of civil society organizations to design and implement transformative and sustainable development interventions which engage government and address felt needs of the vulnerable and excluded such as women and girls.
