dRPC speaks on a panel at the NESG 29th conference – “Social Safety Nets for the Vulnerable”

This session was organized by the NESG in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning. During the session, participants affirmed that establishing robust social safety nets for vulnerable populations in Nigeria is not merely a moral obligation but also an economic imperative.

The dRPC used the session to draw attendtion of the participants to the CPAN/BASIC project supported by Institute for Development Studies (IDS) and FCDO funded aimed at identifying critical interventions required to enhance livelihoods and mitigate poverty dynamics, with a focus on achieving more sustained escapes and minimizing impoverishment in crisis-affected regions.
