Media Centre Against Child Malnutrition (MeCAM) Nominates CS-SUNN Project Director, Mrs. Beatrice Eluaka as a Board of Trustees Member

It is with great delight that we announce the Nomination/Invitation of one of our partner CSO Project Director, Mrs. Beatrice Eluaka as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Media Centre Against Child Malnutrition (MeCAM) in Honorary Capacity.

A letter addressed to her office states “In keeping with the mandate given to the leadership of the Media Centre Against Child Malnutrition (MeCAM) in fulfillment of its recent General Assembly; to seek some new Honorary Board of Trustees (BOT) to add value to MeCAM’s vision and mission. It is in this stead, as a shining light in the nation’s nutrition industry, we are delighted to welcome your nomination as a great honor, given your long-standing support, expertise and know-how in this campaign, we would like you to become an Honorary Board Trustees of MeCAM”

The National Coordinator of MeCAM, Remmy Nweke alongside other members are confident of Mrs. Eluaka’s spirited initiatives and commitments towards piloting the affairs of the strategic leadership team of MeCAM which will in the long run curtail the prevalence of Malnutrition in Nigeria.

CS-SUNN team members are excited about the news, saying her nomination is a milestone will position PACFaH to achieve increased capacity of program/media professionals in Nigeria who will create awareness and report on government’s fulfilment of its commitments to Child and Family Health.

MeCAM Nigeria is a media advocacy group against child malnutrition which works to strengthen the nutrition capacity of Nigerian child and well-being of its members professionally in contributing to nation building.

The Centre is also committed to showcasing successful and development efforts in the area of nutrition for the benefit of mankind and mostly Nigerian child extreme hunger alongside women and society, centred on Goal 2 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
