Umar Kawu is a Fellow of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD), an international network of senior professionals committed to sustainable development. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and member, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. He has over 32 years’ experience in Leadership/Management Development, Sales/Marketing Management and Pharmacy Practice. He was a Senior Consultant and Team Leader in the Organisational Training and Skills Development Team in ReStraL Consulting Nigeria, where he was responsible for business development, marketing, development and
delivery of capacity building products. A seasoned facilitator of Leadership and Management Development programmes, he is also a certified facilitator of Franklin Covey programs; “FOCUS: Achieving Highest Priorities” and “Aligning Goals for Results”. Prior to Joining ReStraL, he worked in Pfizer Products, Colgate – Palmolive and Swiss Pharma Nigeria (Roche) where he was District Manager, Area Manager and Product Manager. Umar has degrees in Pharmacy and Business Administration and has provided Leadership and Management consulting services to organisations in all sectors of the economy in Nigeria and 33 other countries.
